March Meeting
This month we are happy to welcome Greg to discuss motor technology as it applies to the HVAC industry.
Greg Allen has been with Greenheck since 2015, wearing the hat of both Engineer and Instructor. Greg spends much of his time teaching at Greenheck's HVAC-University and customer visits, with topics such as Fan Fundamentals, System Effect, Motor Technology and Controls. When Greg is not instructing, he assists the customer service team and Application Engineers. Prior to joining Greenheck, Greg was an Engineering Manager for a nationally recognized test lab. Greg is a member of several professional organizations, such as ASHRAE. Finally, Greg is a Combat Veteran, family man and an avid outdoorsmen.
The presentation will cover:
Review of common motor technologies
Discussion of industry shift from belt drive to direct drive
A more detailed look at EC motors, how they operate, benefits, etc.
Time for Q&A
