January 2013 - Liquid Desicant Dehumidification
Post date: Jan 08, 2013 2:35:58 PM
Aaron Hohenbrink from Advantix Systems will be speaking on liquid desiccant dehumidifcation and air conditioning systems.
How do you provide cooling for modern surgical suites that require 100% outdoor air, 65F space temperature, and 50% RH? How can you dehumidify an ice skating rink and still save energy? For these cases, DX refrigerant systems are at the limit of their operating range. One solution to this is liquid desiccant dehumidification systems. These systems can consume less energy and provide better air quality.
Mr. Hohenbrink will discuss the basic fundamentals principles of liquid desiccant air conditioning and dehumidification. This discussion will include explanations of how it works, the advantages over traditional methods and the potential applications for liquid desiccant air conditioner use.
Mr. Hohenbrink is a sales engineer for Advantix Systems. Prior to joining Advantix Systems, Mr. Hohenbrink was at York International and Lennox International where he worked primarily in the applied systems sales and residential system sales, respectively. Mr. Hohenbrink has served as the Research Promotion Chairperson for the Central Indiana ASHRAE chapter. Mr. Hohenbrink has a bachelor’s of science in civil engineering from Purdue University and a masters of business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Please come join us for what should be an enjoyable time of networking, technical education, and good food.
